We help you put on kimono (Japanese traditional clothes) to make you graceful!! Weather pemitted, you can walk & visit a near-by shrine to take your photos by your camera!

How to rental kimono at kimono*itoshiki
1．Please make a reservation by e-mail.
First, please let us know when you want to wear kimono.

Second, please tell us your height and foot size.

2.The day reserved, please come at specified time.
Then please choose youre favorite kimono.
It will take about 30 minutes in dressing..
I hope you bring a small handbag because we don't have them.
※ We keep your luggage exept valuables (ex.wallet,passport)
3.As soon as dressing end, please go out to the city.
And please come back until 5 pm.

If you want to eat Japanese dishes, you can eat special box lunch (by Kinobu, is famous of the Japanese restaurant near kimono*itoshiki） at machiya. ( +\5,250）
First, you choose kimono, and we help you wear kimono.
Then we take your photos. We hope you enjoy kyoto very much!!
◆The optional planning fot the photograpy
We'd love to take your memorial photos in machiya or near from kimono*itoshiki. In later, we send them by E-mail.

If you want to reserve this service, please tell us 3 days before.
Instructions
・Be careful for liquid (water, oil, coffee… so on) when you go outside.
・When you feel unwell because of tightening sashes, please tell us.
There are any days you cannot take bookings. Please make sure the day and time.
These services doesn't include hair set or makeup.

If you come here by train・・・
Take Kyoto city subway "Karasuma line" from Kyoto station, and get off at Shijo station.
Go up to the ground through exit No.6. Walk 1 minute towards south and turn right at the corner of bakers (Bukkoji-dori).
Then you will find “kimono*itoshiki”！
This is the entrance.
In front of the shop, the stone monument stands.
